School Visits

Hands-on, practical activities help to bring learning to life in a variety of natural settings. Children have the opportunity to explore woodland, fields, hedgerows and pond habitats as part of their visit. Chose one of our themed day programmes or build your own day by selecting activities to suit your group.

Early Years

Activities for pre-schools, nurseries and Reception children

Early Years activities are mainly open-ended, sensory activities then enable the children to explore the natural environment at their own pace. Resources and discussion guide their learning, with lots of opportunity for child-led exploration.

Key Stage 1

Activities for children in years 1 and 2

The hands-on ethos continues into Key Stage 1 where curriculum-based concepts are explored in practical ways.

Key Stage 2

Activities for older primary children
